Just bought some Jectron Fuel additive? 200

Anybody have an experince with this stuff? I put some in...and i couldve sworn it smelled like kerosene???

it said on the label it's 90% naptha so that explains the smell i guess(i'd best not be getting shafted by this company) :)

Naphtha is just a very light petroleum distillate. You can buy it in gallon cans for about $5 at your outdoor store - it's called campstove fuel. It has virtually no aroma, so anything you smelled was likely caused by the other ingredients. Naphtha has no MTBE or other oxygenates in it - also no detergents such as found in motor gasoline. Every naphtha container I've seen is imprinted "Not for use as a motor fuel".

Maybe the other 10% of the container had some usefulness as a fuel system cleaner - I doubt the naphtha would do anything.
