I've seen references to "Codes". Can someone tell me if there are codes accessible in a 1986 Volvo turbowagon? If so, how do I display/read them?

Motor Magazine] Volvo started using self-diagnostics on its Bosch LH 2.4 engine management systems in 1988 on 700 series non-turbo cars and in Regina-equipped cars. (From FAQ 700/900)

Looks like you're out of luck.
