My Volvo's in the body shop; what's holding up the repair is the shop's inability to find a black front grille and parking lenses for my 1980 242 DL. Any leads? TIA

Geez, I have a few of the pseudo "flathood" (plain old Volvo) grills and the amber corner lenses. Write me.

if its covered by insurance, go to the dealership, get brand spankin new ones. Don't screw around with them, they charge us somewhat more on insurance due to the fact that the parts may be expensive from the dealership should they need them, so don't think you're doing them a favor or something. If you've already got the insurance check and are trying to save some $$, thats another story, or if you're footing the bill yourself, Im sure plenty of boad members have them, otherwise, I'll get out to the PNP and look.

I was gonna say I'd like to see the look on the parts guy's face when you ask for that grille and the amber lenses but I think Miike has seen it already. The taillights are NLA, even the later 5-panels are NLA I think.
