'83 240 Seat Recliner Knob 200 1983

The front passenger seat recliner knob is missing on my seat. I have another front passenger seat with the knob intact; but i'm unable to get it off easily and i'm afraid of breaking it. Is there a secret to removing the knob?

I used a Mechanics Pick and Pliers. Don't be afraid of bending the little Star tabs, you can tap them flat again with a hammer for the reinstall.
As Mario said , maybe my notes will help you on Erlings Website.
