Tie-rod end??? 200

I have a 87 240 and get this weird shake and shimmy up front when I turn to the left doing 45mph or higher. I replaced the tires, they were worn anyways, and I still get the same shake. Tie-rods???

Could be tie rod ends, could be tie rod inner ends (integral with tie rod), could be ball joints...

Yep...sounds very much to what was wrong on mine... 200

Got one from Advance Auto Parts. It was made by TRW, which I think is an original replacement. Amke sure you soak both ends of the tie rod in PBlaster for a few hours. It made the job a whole lot easier. Replacement took me less than 10 minutes, but you need to get a wheel alignment done after that.

Cheers,
Raj

Save the cost of an alignment by counting the number of turns it takes to unscrew the old ond and screw the new one in the same number of turns. jp
