Radio code before I remove the battery 200

Does anyone know how I can retreive the radio code before I remove the battery. I removed the battery from one of the new 245's and now the radio says code E...I don't know how I'm going to get that one going, but before I remove the battery on the second one, I want to know how to retreive the code so that I can get it going again once I upgrade the battery.

The radio code was printed on a card that is in the owner manual packet. If you don't have the card anymore, you can bring your registration card (and prove who you are by showing your drivers license) and they'll look it up for you at the dealership. Depending on how friendly your dealer is, they might or might not charge you for it. When this happened on my BMW (Big Money Waste?) the dealer charged $25 to look it up. Best of luck!
