Oil out the tailpipe!!!! 200

I was revin the engine to my 1993 240 in my driveway and when I looked back I noticed grey smoke and what looked like oil coming out of the tailpipe. But when I went to check it out it wasnt really wet though it looked like it was. So my question is what would cause this and how to fix it.

I assume the car hadn't been driven down the highway or something that would have completely warmed it up under operating conditions. It sounds like you were blowing condensation out the tailpipe, and it was mixing with soot in the exhaust. This will generally stop once you've driven the car long enough to dry out the exhaust system.
