fogged windowss and coolant leak 200

I have an 81 245DL. I know that there is a small coolant leak, which in itself isn't too much of a problem yet.

The problem is that whenever I put heat through the windshield defrost vents the windshield instantly fogs up, even in the middle of a nice day. There is also a faint smell of coolant in the air comming out of my vents, heater on or not.

Are these connected? Any ideas?

Thanks for any help,

Mike

The interior fogging of the windows, coolant smell on the inside, and the loss of coolant all point to a leaking heater core or heater control valve. I'm leaning more toward the heater core being bad. Good Luck!
