I just picked up some MOMO rims that i thought were Gemini rims... What year/model did these rims come on? The thing that makes me wonder, is that they are only 15x7" wheels and their offset is ET22. According to another website, here, the Gemini volvo wheels are supposed to be 16x7 and with an offset of ET20... On the wheels i got, they say MOMO, were made in italy, and are part number TYPO7300. They have caps that say volvo on them and look exactly like the wheels in the picture for Gemini rims on this site: brickparts.d--r.com.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? TIA!

If the wheels don't have Volvo stamped in them somewhere, and don't have a Volvo part number on them, they're not Volvo wheels. If you look at the brickparts web site as well, the Gemini wheels are listed as 16" wheels. I've seen no information indicating otherwise.
I believe that Volvos need hub centric, but other than that if the bolt pattern and offset are okay, and the wheels clear the calipers.. the wheels should work.
I believe all 200/700 wheels had either 20mm or 25mm offset, so 22mm should fit just fine.

Yeah, i think they're aftermarket MOMOs made for Volvos, the guy i got them from pulled them off of a crashed 240... And they look completelyand exaclty identical to the Volvo rims, but they don't have Volvo stamped into the wheel anywhere. So i think they're just some MOMO rims that are made to work on Volvos and then the cap is either the same one as the Gemini rim, or it just has a Volvo center in it. I'll post some pictures when i can... I lost(probably stolen) my digital camera at the IPD garage sale, first time anyone's heard of something getting taken from it. And it wasn't even a volvo part... Dangit,

There was a disposable dropped outside the front of iPd (and I forgot who picked it up), but if it was inside your car, I would less likely to say stolen. If such was a case, I would've been in big trouble. For a while in the morning (when it was in the street), my car was unlocked.
As for the rims ... they're as it's said - Momo made for Volvo.
During the 80's, several manufacturers had rims that were such a style. It was what was "in" during that time. Kinda like the turbine wheels of the 70's and the mesh wheels of the mid-to-late 80's.

It was taken from the sidewalk right behind where we were selling stuff... It wasn't in the car, which was also unlocked for part of the day. Not that there was really anything worth anything in there, well, not that people could see anyway. Thanks for the wheel Kane, good to hear you're back safe and sound, well i assume you are. =D
Peace,

Damn - that sucks, then. And yeah, I'm back safe ... and relatively sound.
Essentially speaking, all of yesterday was dealing with driving in California. 'nuff said.

And yes, they were SUV's.
