Hey guy's another question, when i got my 89 760 i only got the valet key with it, this of course is not going to do, this is the funktified key, are these copyable or is this a "volvo special order key ", if so what will i need when ordering a key?

Difference in valet key is thickness not actual pattern. A door/ignition can be made from a valet by using proper blank when cutting.

It's copyable, but why would you want to copy the wrong key?
Take your VIN and proof of ownership to a Volvo Dealer to get the right one(not cheap).

Any good locksmith can make a good key out of a valet key, i had it done with my 89 745 when i bought it it also only had a valet key, took it to my key guy and he made me a normall one from the valet.
