Goody, I can post them now. 200

I got permission from Dale Welfare to post up his fine pictures of his 245L Ute. I accidently credited them to Kerry Welfare on the gallery, it should be Dale.

This find vehicle was sold, then destroyed in bizzare circumstances while the new owner had it parked outside their parts shop. It was shunted by a truck and sadly written off.

Enjoy these pictures of this wonderful vehicle as it was. I like it so much that I forgive him for chopping up a 245L Van.

Love it!!! 200

what does it take to make a 240 sedan into one of those? who would do that, a coach/limo builder? I am sure body shops won't attempt this....would be nice to convert mine into one of those.

Cheers,
Raj

Actually, that started as a wagon... 200

And, that's the cleanest example I've seen- Too bad it's no more.

So...does that mean sedans can't be made into a PU? (nmi) 200

For a while, there was an outfit in Canada that had a conversion kit that converted a 242 into a pickup.

Too bad I'm so old I can't remember any of the details.

Hey, anything's possible, right? 200

But it would be alot easier to "convert" a wagon, seems to me...

As a side-note, I've always thought it would be cool to do this conversion, but leave the wagon's roof more or less intact, and have a lift-off hardtop a la early Broncos & Ramchargers...

Reinforcing the chassis could be tricky.....
