Oil Dipstick O-ring 200 1989

Developing oil leak, from the top. My first suspect is the o-ring on the dipstick. I know...crankcase pressure, but that is not a problem. I have clean plumbing and a clean oil breather box.

Does anyone know the size of the o-ring?

I believe the O-ring is there not to prevent oil from spewing out (positive pressure), but to keep air from comming in (vacuum). If you have the former problem, I'd guess that despite your efforts, you have a crankcase pressure problem.

The size I used last to make it snug is 7/16 x 3/8 x 3/32 as sold in the home center store.
