I am trying to descibe this the best that I can. I have noticed that the higher my turbo goes the less air I have coming from my vents. If I go up a hill and the turbo needle starts to get closer to the yellow the less air I have blowing from the vents. Then when my needle starts to come out of the yellow the blower gets stronger and blows more air. Car cools fine. I am just using the turbo guage as a reference. You know like the more gas I give the car the less my blower blows. I hope I did not confuse anyone. I confused myself. I would greatly appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks for reading my post.

My 87 745T did the same thing a year ago - was the check valve (that little black/white "top" looking thing in one of the vacuum lines) - at the top of the intake near the firewall.

The vents stay open under vacuum and when the check valve fails, there's nothing to keep them under vacuum and open. The turbo would obviously rob any vacuum in the system under boost and your air vents would instantly close.

I usually take them off any car I see them on in the yards as extras.

the only thing I have been able to find like you described is right next to my transmision fluid dipstick. Is that it or do I need to look harder. The top, can it be all black or does it have to be black and white.

Hey, Swede. Stop hogging all of the parts we need. :) Or create a web site where we can list our part requirements and you can mail them to us when we need them!
Looking for a good pick and pull in the Twin Cities area,

Klaus
