COMMPRESSION TEST/230FT 200

I would like to know what the commpression should be on a 230FT/K Block
I checked today and it ran in this order, #1-135psi #2-130psi #3-140psi #4-145psi. The car has 145,000 mls on it and the pcv system was totally stopped up.
I'm thinking that there is carbon build up in the back two cylinders.
Any help on this is needed
The volvo is a 1989 model Thanks Rodney

Because compression testers and methods vary, cylinder-to-cylinder variation is probably more revealing than the absolute number. Yours are fine.. worst case is 130-145 psi, just over 10%. You could test tomorrow and the spread might be smaller. 5-10 psi on a gauge which cost less than several hundred dollars is not terribly significant.

Thanks Smitty,
These Haynes and Chilton books aren't worth a darn
