Are there just certain models (vin numbers) of the 94 960 wagon that use a keyless entry?

I'd be surpised if it wasn't a dealer-installed option. It's easy to do. There's a section in the FAQ about installing an aftermarket system yourself. I just did it, and I'm very pleased with the results.
