Regarding a 1997 Volvo 960

Front wheel hubs. Can anyone provide the torque specification for the hub nut.

TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS for Wheel Hubs :

Front 100 Nm (73.8 ft. lbs.) + 45°

Rear 140 Nm (103.0 ft. lbs.) + 60°

You'll need to have this confirmed because I haven't used it enough to trust the accuracy of this CD manual...but it says 63 ft. lbs. is the correct torque

Your number is for the LUG nut not the HUB nut. 900 1997

At least I assume he really means the hub nut. The big one on the stub axle that holds the whole hub assembly in place. I don't have that information handy but other post seems correct.

'96 965 with 16' wheels at 116K. Had '85 745 Turbo Diesel for 200K.
