No ignition lights on dash 140-160 1974

I am hoping there are some obvious places to start troubleshooting this...
74 144; don't get any lights on when turning ignition on. Turn signal works. Starter works. Don't measure any voltage on the negative low-V terminals on ignition coil. Positive terminal seems to have constant power. I wonder if ingition lock has crapped out, but am hoping there's an easy fix. Went over all fuses and they look fine. Battery was recharged a few weeks ago and seems to be fine. Any tips appreciated.

Didja clean the fuse ends and fuse holders in the fusebox? They can look OK and not be getting a connection...?

Sorry, I don't know much about the later 140s. If you don't find your answer here, you might try posting the question and lie saying its a 240... I expect the electrical systems are more similar to early 240s.

I found the problem with the dash lights - it was the power supply connector on the back of the gage cluster. A bit of Corrosion block took care of that. The car still doesn't start though - it just "dry coughs" when I run the starter even though I know it's getting fuel. Start troubleshooting the ignition system tonite.
