Looks very tidy indeed, only where are the letters 'VOLVO'? Where I live the letters are in the cast itself, so cannot be removed, but this one seems to need a seperate 'emblem-plate-thingy' that goes onto the flat area (which also seems to have 3 holes in it). Is this some special handle, or are they all like that in non-european countrys? Just wondering.

All the ones of that style I've seen here in the U.S. have have a separate plate for the VOLVO letters, held on by two pins, if I rmember right.

I am not sure about the letters but I emailed him and he said that it has a Volvo stamping on the inside...so it must be original Volvo...maybe they switched to a plate emblem rather than casted..I know you can get the emblems in aftermarket....

I've never seen anything but the ones with the removable emblem. 2 tabs as Phil stated.

I'm actually selling my trunk handle and its in better condition then the one on ebay and has the volvo lettering. Not using it anymore since I shaved the trunk.
