How much for my 86 740 GLE? 700 1986

Well, I believe the time has come.
After 2 1/2 years, and 50,000 miles of faithful service, I believe it is time to sell the brick.
Does anyone know how much I can get for a 1986 740 GLE with 168,000 miles in good condition?
Nothing is wrong with the brick, I just got a Nissan Pathfinder and I need to get rid of something. The brick has a new steering rack, starter, timing belt, head liner, Pirelli P400's, brakes rotors and more.

Let me know if anyone has a ball park figure that I could expect to get, or if anyone is interested in the car. I live right outside of Philadelphia.

Going on what others have said, if you think about california your car will go for maximum value, somewhere like mississippi it will probly go for the lowest

a lot of it would depend on where you live. when my 87 760 was totaled a 3 years ago the insurance company (HQ'd in the mid-west) offered $1,600 (whcih was a mid-range fair price for that area) but after checking over sales in my area I had no real problem getting $3,600 for it (and bought back the car for $600 and am still driving it today).

for a ball-park figure you should go to KBB.com (kelly blue book). they have a value calculator that will tell you trade-in value and retail price, a private sale should fall somewhere between the 2. it figures in milage, options, area where you live and condition of the car.

I've been trying to determine a ballpark price for an '87 760T which is completely working and in good condition.

after looking around on eBay over about a 4 week period (wide range of prices from $500 to $2000)

and checking Kelly Blue Book ($2050 for the 760T with 140,000 mi.)

I decided on $1700... FWIW.
