I have an 89 245 wagon. Needs a left rear door(dented). Anyone out there know which years interchange? (by the way, I'm in Cleveland, OH, if anyone knows good sources here)

Even the 244 door will fit. Ever notice how the rear doors on a wagon curve down unnecessarily at the rear top?

Ugh, yes that awful curve makes life a lot easier when it comes to getting replacement doors, but it really spoils the trim line, especially with the 70's chrome. The line on the top of the rear door doesn't match the lines on the rear window

86 and on doors are the only true bolt-on for your car because of earlier mentioned trim parts (drilled holes for the lower trim) and altered bolt pattern for the mirrors. Earlier doors can be modified but 86 and later is the easy way to go. Besides, these are galvanized and not as prone to rust as 85 and older doors.

If you find a door from 89 up, or an earlier GL model door, you'll have power windows in it as MOST 89 models had.
That would make the swap even easier. Any 86-on door will have the correct trim and you can then swap door panels and handles to match yours if needed.

I think you are pretty much limited to model years 1975-1993. However, some late 140 doors might also work ;)

'79+ when the latches switched over. But even the earlier ones would work - just need to drill new holes for mounting the latch.
