Can the Rack be Parted Out 700 1986

I am getting ready to do some work on the rack. Can anyone tell me if it would be possiable for me to replace just tierod? Or must I Replace the whole rack as a unit?
Once again THANKS for all of the help, without this site my brick would be a planter.

You can replace the inner tie-rods on your rack but you might want to check the overall condition to see if you might need a rebuilt rack.

Yes, it is indeed possible to replace just the inner tie rod. See the 700/900 FAQ under "features" button above for information.
