body coloured bumpers 700

Hello, I will be starting a repaint of my 88 745t (currently dark green, will be switching to red as per my wife's wishes, she does the prep-work all I need to do is shoot). I would like opinions and pics if possible of body coloured bumpers.

Merci

Yvan

Check out this site as well:

http://www.2phast.com/190E/default.htm
(Click on "Body colored impact strips" in the left-hand column)

The info is for a Mercedes 190E, but it's the same process. And he gives a link to the company that was able to supply him with color-matched paint. I guess that's not such a big deal for you since you're applying a new color.

Hey Here's a website that you might want to see. Good luck with the paint.

I like color matched bumpers - they look more integral to the body than the black plastic that Volvo used. Remember to add the flex-agent to the paint if you paint them. You can find it at the paint/bodyshop supply store. Good luck with the color change. I have painted a few cars (just painted the 245 two years ago - silver paint code 130, PPG acrylic lacquer basecoat/clearcoat, left the bumpers black - used Duplicolor Black Bumper and Trim paint on them).
