timing belt challenge - final stage 900 1993

With all your help I have been able to almost recover from a timing belt failure. Two issues remain:
routing of vacuum hoses around inlet manifold;
correct order of the coil packs vs cylinders.

Anyone with an indentical car in the Baltimore area? Or is someone interested in telling me over the phone how it is wired up on your car?

thanks in advance

Robert

Indeed, I'm right in Baltimore city. I do own a 97 V90 which may be slightly different than your car (more like my previously owned 92). Coil packs and vacuum hoses have never crossed my knowledge base, but I have some resources (CD-ROM and a Volvo mechanic friend) who might be able to lead us both into enlightenment. Call me (410-625-2994) so we can figure this out together.

Dear Robert,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. I think John Shatzer is in the Baltimore area, and I'm pretty sure he owns a 960 and knows a lot about it.

See if you can find him in an on-line telephone directory.

Alternatively, find one of his recent posts on this board, and e-mail him.

I'm sure he'll come to your rescue, electronically if not physically.

Yours faithfully,

spook
