since i got the brake light out and good brakes, i give it an oil change today. i know to change it when the dash oil light is blinking. this is caused by the oil gettin thinned with gas. dont know why it does this. but you can smell the gas in the oil. also i give it 2 cans of R-134A....and i got a/c now.
man i be stylin....good brakes, oil light not blinkin and cold a/c.....in a car thats got no rust, no dents,(in need of paint badly) new tires, 202,000 and cost me $600 in 98!!!!!! what more can a guy want???? hehehehehehehehehehehehee

Your fuel pressure regulator may have failed, making the fuel pressure too high or leaking raw fuel into the intake manifold through the diaphragm.

Also your injectors may be leaking raw fuel into the engine overnight.

Running the engine with thinned-out oil until the oil light comes on will lead to very early rod bearing failure and disaster. Also you could have an engine fire. Fix it!

it has a new one on it, well it was when i bought it. i got this car for that price cause it wouldnt run when the fuel tank went to half!!!!! really, the mechanic shop that did this guys work replaced all the other things under the hood(i got all the reciepts$5-600 of his attempts to fix the problem)also the air cleaner was pretty solid....that would make it run real rich. i ll see after a few miles.......how it fairs.

If you're smelling gas in your oil you're running rich. You need to fix this for the good of your engine. I'm in the 4th year of a 240 I only paid $600 for, put in $1-2k but I'm still way ahead & a happy camper!
