Just bought '82 242 GLT 200

I just bought a 1982 242 GLT. Great little car, but unfortunately the PPO (Previous Previous Owner) stripped it for racing. Many of the options us VOlvo owners are used to are missing/nonfunctional. No locks, power window switch on pass. side doesn't work (relay was eliminated) and some other things.

My question regards the power mirrors. They are still operational, and the controls are more or less in one piece, except for the trim. What can I do to be able to use my mirrors? I can't figure out a way to attach them in the pass. compartment. Only the "knobs" remain. Can I buy the original trim? Pick and pulls are not an option.

Hope this made sense...

Not sure what is missing. The power window switches (knobs) are usually on the bottom of the center console (where the e-brake lever is), almost on the floor. If your missing the console or the ring that holds the switch to the console....check out e-bay motors, select car/ truck (to the left), under accessories, the select interior, then type in Volvo for search; or post a wanted in the classified on this board.

I know of a 245 turbo being parted out. Let me know what you need and I'll see if it's still available and how much.
