Headlight/Tailight Problems AHHH! 200

My right side low beam headlamp is out. The bulb and all fuses are fine. The light works on high beam. Also, my right rear parking/stop lamps are out. There is a crack in the lens which allowed some water to get in there. perhaps a fried circuit board? However, the light works when I press the brake, but off and on. Also, sometimes the hazard light bulb flashes on the dash when the right turn signal is on. Im at a loss here, any ideas or thoughts? Thanks a million.

Brett

Replace the bulb in the headlight. I often lose one of the two.

Clean the contact strip on the taillights. Clean the ground on the taillights. Some BBers have drilled small drainage holes into the lenses because the seal can leak so often. There may be more info available in the FAQS.

Isn't it amazing how moisture gets in so much better than it gets out?
That was a tremendous problem in the tropics where I tested military eqpt
for 22 years. Too much was "almost" sealed. Pulled in damp air at night
when temp was low and air was humid and blew out air (but not much water)
when it heated up during the day.

Agreed.
I have also heard of creating drain holes in the exhaust for the same reason, but have worried about rust.Just for those cars that only go 5 miles a day and never get up to temp.
