I don't think you'd be saving much money, and while it might be as good, it's never going to be better than the Bosch part. It's not a job you want to do a second time.

Find out who makes it exactly, seeing how Scantech moreso works as a distributor. If it's a name brand you've heard of, then it might be fine.

I recently got the AC pump from eeuroparts for about $28, stick with the original Scan tech has a bad reputation. They are a bit of a pain to replace and it's always exciting dealing with an open gas tank and all those explosive fumes, be carefull. Dan

The original is an AC Delco unit identical to the fuel pump in a Chevette, we hear. The part number I have is not current however. Anyone know which Chevette, which part number, anything. When were thos damned Chevette abominations around?
