First let me put my eyeballs back in their sockets 200

They popped right out when I saw this ad at Cars.com
I think maybe this is the new record high asking price for a used 240.

What's up with "Gold exterior, teal interior"?

I hope not, sounds like it would turn my stomach.

The car sold for a bit over that brand new.

maybe instead of gold they meant 24k gold leaf for the color / lol
15k miles or not bound to have some dry rot and some aged acidic oil in the crankcase / the kellys on that page said it was worth 7k in pristine condition.

"1991 volvo 940 tubro 1 owner all book and r"

???

Call me stupid... but I just don't get it.

Probably meant $1900.

The funny thing is, someone will probably buy it for $9500 because they got fifty percent off. What a deal!

For that kind of money you could buy a 98 or so Lexus LS400, with low miles and a service history. Now that's a car for 19K. Not a 92 240.

Asking is not Getting (nmi) 200

but if you don't ask, you don't get 200

He probably won't find that nut, but he might. Hey, it's his $25, and now he has lots of room for a "sale price". If nothing else he entertains us.

It could be because of the low mileage and presumably original cassette player!
A real collectable.

I'm joking of course.

Yeah! I knew that this Lee Volvo Guy was a clown in my neck of the woods in Boston but why? Who in the hell is going to buy a 240 for anything over $10,000. What a Clown!

Is it a 240 or a 940 Turbo as noted under the additional selling points? If indeed it only has 15k miles, perhaps there will be someone out there who will pay that. It'll take a long while to find that buyer, though.

If it were a '93 245 classic with that milage, it may sell a lot quicker.

I wondered about that but I think the 940 reference is a typo or mistake of some kind. This ad was listed with the other 240's.
