700 problems with ac It's hot please help. 700

Hey guys and gals
Well I replaced my ac clutch and compressor a few weeks back.
The lasrger (1 1/16) hose that goes into the compressor is leaking.
I replaced the o ring with a larger one and tightened it as well as I could. Still leaks.
I then thought I had crap built up in the condensor so I blew it out with air and oil and dirt came out.
Reconnected everything and it still leaks. As soon as I go to add refrigerant it blows right out this hose. Could it be that i may have too much oil in the systems. The compressor came with oil in it and I like an idiot bought the cans with oil in them. I think I may have gotten all the oil out but at this point I don't know what to think.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Carl

Well never mind. (I posted the original) Compressor greneded shortly after I posted the original post. Called the place who "rebuilt" it.
    Guy says come right up.
Turns out that they just gave me another used compressor that was laying around.
They "thought" they had rebuilt it, but turns out they didn't.
Guy says he would make good on it. I just asked for my money back, and he agreed.
Now I just placed my order with wwww.eeuroparts.com.
I should have just done that from the beginning and I would have been good.
Oh well thanks for your replies.
    Carl

I your compressor just destroyed itself, then I strongly urge you to flush out the system before you install the new one. Otherwise all that crud released by the old compressor will try to destroy the new one.

OK, first thing is that the condensor is supposed to have oil in it (it accumulates there when the compressor is not running) and that oil should be replaced. Secondly, if black stuff came out, you may want to think about flushing the system (except for the compressor and receiver/drier which is replaced). The individual parts (e.g., condensor, evaporator, lines) are flushed one at a time with a solvent (terpene based) and compressed air. Thirdly, we need to know more about the leak at the hose. Is it leaking at the joint from around the threads, or from a hole/fracture in the line somewhere? If the former, make sure the threads are not mucked up and that you applied compressor oil to the O-ring. You should not replace the O-ring with a larger one, but a new one of the original size. Since you opened the system, you should automatically replace the receiver/drier and vacuum it down before adding any refridgerant. R134a?
