My 760 has factory cruise control, but it doesn't work at all. Anybody know where I can start looking in order to fix it? I'm lazy and like the cruise :)

Failing this being a worthwile problem to fix, is there instead a way to make my gas pedal less stiff?

You should go to the 700/900 FAQ. There is lots of good information there on diagnosis and repair of your cruise control.

Good place to start would be vacuum hoses.. If that doesn't pan out, try the switch on the turn signal(If this is where your switch is)...are the connections good? This might be of no help as I am not familiar with the system in a 740...But these items still need to be checked..
