Can't pass emissions in Denver-'81 245 200 1981

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get my car to pass Colorado Air Care emissions??

Failed because carbon monoxide was too high.

Here is the results:

At 2500 rpm: At idle: Limits:
CO % 5.23 1.97 1.50
HC ppm 153.7 94.0 400.0
CO2 ppm 6.2090 NA

Sounds like the mixture is too rich?? I have another fuel distributor/warm up regulator that I'm planning on swapping out. I also have a colortune setup to try and get the mixture right.

Any ideas would help.

Thanks-

Paul

how long has it been since a tuneup? adjust fuel mix? If you tune it up and adjust the fuel mix correctly it should pass, if not then the cat is probably suspect.... I am in denver if your maf is bad, I can supply one
