is there a predrilled hole for the anchor clip at the center of the seat, where it should lock into place on to the metal of the car?the side, longer straps i can figure out/but i am confused as to how the ceter piece locks into place,i know volvo would make it as safe as possible ,but if i drill a hole i have my doubts.....Kris

A hole is drilled in the wheel well and an anchor nut used in the well (outside to the rear and above the tire).

I think Kris means the double buckles in the middle of the seat, one for each belt?
On mine (UK version, may be different) they come as part of the catch assembly, on short straps that fold out through the gap between the back and the seat.
The catch assemby bolts to the floor with 4 bolts. Two of these merely locate the reinforcing plate underneath, the other two also hold the catch. The holes were not pre-drilled, and positioning the catch so that the holes could be drilled in the right places was quite difficult. Watch out that you got this part with the kit, if you bought a secondhand one.I took mine off a scrap car, and the bolts were very rusty and hard to undo. It would have been tempting for someone not to bother and pretend that the kit was complete.
A further point of warning is that on mine, the fuel pipes run underneath a few inches away. Without some sort of stop on the drill bit to stop it bursting through, I could have drilled right through the pipes.
