Woven stainless brake hoses--ok on ABS cars? 200

Years ago I put a set of the IPD brake hoses on my 1980 wagon. They are really great for brake feel--make a system that already has good pedal feedback into one that is maybe the best of any car I've ever driven.

Now I've got a 1992. I would like to do the same thing, buuuut...It's got ABS. And I wonder--the reason the woven brake hoses give the pedal such a solid feel is that they have absolutely no give. I wonder whether that would be ok with the hammering that the ABS unit delivers whenever it goes into action. Would the impact break down the seals in the MC or the wheel cylinders? Or maybe even rupture a line or hose?

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Mr. Bond,

I've used the SS brake lines on my '92 w/ABS for a year now with no problems. I've used the ABS on dry pavement twice and in the snow a few more times since installation and everything is still put together. IPD sells a set specifically for ABS cars that should be a little less expensive because there are fewer hoses to change out.

    Hope this helps.

BTW - My dry pavement experiences were once for deer and once for some guy in a Lexus who had a Big Gulp cup blocking his line of vision. It's an exciting world out there.
