success...but I still have a quetion 200 1987

Well, I just completed installing new rear trailing arm bushings! I used the Homebrew tool and it worked well. Next time however, I will definatly use air tools to do the work...I have only normal sized socket drives and my lug wrench and I am exhausted from all of the torquing. However, I love the "new" ride.

I have one question however. In the Bentley maunal it says to replace any self locking nuts. I only noticed that the coil spring lower mounting nut was a self locking. Are there any more that I missed that need to be replaced and how critical is this. I didn't replace any because I didn't have any to replace them with, but I will if it is an important thing to do.

I've done four or five rear trailing arm bushing installs and have never used new hardware. If you want an added level of security you could use some locktite.
