Where do I look for vacuum leaks? 700

Hi

Might have a vacuum leak, where would be a good place to start looking?

first place is under the hood, all hoses with vac, they are the first to go due to heat/oil/viberation, look for splits right where the side on a nipple. second place is the damper control units under the dash that contorl blower air handling. third is every thing thats left, and hope it's bad enought to hear the leak.

Start the enhine and take a can of carb cleaner and spray all the suspect spots...vacuum hoses, gaskets...anywhere air and gas parts join

When you hear the engine rev up a bit, that's the spot

    Intake manifold to head gasket.
Throttle body to intake manifold gasket.
    All vacuum hoses.
Also check the air intake hoses - remove and check the corrugated secton closely.

    Good luck,

    Dan
