Control arm bushing are tricky to press out even with a good hydraulic press. It is time consuming to get the right height of blocks under the irregular shaped control arm to get the bushing square to the press ram. Once square to the ram, use about a 1 3/16" socket between the bushing and the ram to push out the bushing. The socket needs to be just a little smaller than the bushing OD and large enough to bear on the steel sleeve, not the rubber. I'll bet someone that knows what there are doing with a hydraulic press can get the "twisted" ones out. You can always trying calling a Volvo garage to see what they charge to press them out and how much new control arms cost. My guess is a Volvo shop probably has a special fixture to hold the control arm square in the press. jp

I don't know if anyone sells them already pressed into the brackets. I just did mine on my 81. I paid a shop $52 to have all four old bushings pressed out and new ones pressed in. It took them about 50 minutes with a press, a torch, and an air chisel. Glad they did it, but it cost a bit more than I thought it would.

You're going to have to buy them separately and press the bushings in yourself, or take them to a shop to get them pressed in. My recommendation would be to get the bracket (and control arm if needed) from a pick-n-pull to save money. I don't know what a new bracket would cost you but it won't be cheap.
