A\C pipe running to condensor in front rust 700 1990

I noticed that I have bubbles comming from the 16mm nut assembly that is positioned right behind the front frame of the car. IT is the ac line that runs to the front of the car frame. Is there supposed to be a o ring or something. I wasw able to unscrew to find parts of some old ring, however it still leaks from the same area after I cleaned and tightened the connection. Is there a way to seal this connection?

Michael

It seals with an o-ring which is clearly damaged. You will need to disassemble and install a new o-ring. Regrets: you have lost some of your a/c charge and will have to evacuate and recharge as well.

Do you know the o ring size or color? I have the 134a full retrofit replacement ket with many o rings. Knowing which one to use would be good to know.

      Thanks

      Michael
