AW70 shifter seal... any special tricks for replacement? 200 1989

Are there any special tricks/advice/cautions to be used in replacing the right hand shifter shaft seal in a AW70? Or is it as easy as it looks?
Pry it out with small screwdriver and install new seal using suitable socket?
This seems to be the last leak in the kid's 244 beater!!!!

It's as easy as it looks. Wash off the grit 'n grime first....

When I found leaks at the shift shaft on my older Volvos, all I had to do was reseat the seal. They'd popped out a bit.

Also, be aware that ATF leaks from the cooling lines (from pinholes that wear through under the support clamps) can appear to come from the side of the tranny.

Thanks Don. I have checked/replaced the cooling line o'rings and checked the lines for leaks/pinholes. Everything seems oil tight except for the shifter shaft seal. I'll try reseating it, thanks for the advise.
