I have a 5 bar oil pressure gauge.....I know I need a 5 bar sending unit. Question.....uh, how do I tell the diff from a 3 bar or a 5 bar ? Also, is this the same sender as the sender that lights up the idiot dash light ?

Also any info on where abouts of oil temp sending unit.

I have a 240 with a pressure gauge transplanted from a turbo but no sending unit... there seem to be alot of sending units listed on eguages... does anyone know which is correct for a 1991 240? :-)

No, it's no the same as the oil pressure switch, which is behind the alternator, in the block.

Actually it is a 2 in 1 unit, having both the 5 bar sending unit and the low oil pressure switch in one unit. I have one on the shelf, and if my own computer was working I'd take a picture of it and post it.

I have a 3 bar sender sitting here on my desk. On the sender, just above the threads that screw into the block, is stamped "0-3 BAR"
