How's my rearend? 200 1991

I am trying to eliminate a noise in back of my '91 245. I found a badly deformed and detached e-brake spring on the right side. While I had all this apart, I decided to pull the axles to see what shape the seals and bearings are in. The bearings and outer races look really good. My question is; should the axle feel like the diff is "clicking" when I turn it from either side? I have the brakes off on both sides so I can replace all of the e-brake hardware and I won't put this back together until I know if this will be a problem.

It's normal. Button it back up.

I believe this clicking is normal; I know mine does it.

No response, so.... 200 1991

I didn't see a response, so I put everything back together. I guess I will find out if the ratcheting or clicking is a problem or not the old fashioned way; by driving it!
