mysterious draw on battery. 200 1987

okay. here it goes...
battery in my 87 dl will die if the car sits for a day without driving. with a test light I have determined that it is something on #8 fuse. Knowing full well that I had does an uneducated install of an aftermarket stereo, I rewired it the correct way. i have tried disconnecting everything on that circuit and there still seems to be a draw(test light still beaming). The only things that I know are on this circuit are the courtesy lamp, glove box light, trunk and hood light and the power antenna. Am I missing something in the translation of Bentley's schematic?
thanks in advance.

Is the stereo completely disconnected? It will always draw something to keep the station presets and clock running. This current draw is fairly small but it may be enough to light up your test light, so make sure that isn't messing with you.

That kind of thing can be frustrating. My son is attempting to restore a Nova which has just started to do the same thing. For now, we are just unhooking it each night. Anyway, a friend had the situation you describe, and eventually found a short in the ignition switch which was causing the problem. He replaced the switch, and all was well. Might be worth checking.

Did you unplug the power antenna? If not, it could be causing the problem. Also did you wire the stereo to the number 8 fuse?

I don't have the power ant. hooked up. It's jammed anyway. yes I do have it wired to #8 so it will keep time, presets, etc. I checked it with the stereo unhooked from all power and light was still lit.
