has any one ever powder coated alloy volvo rims? im thinking that some black alloys would look pretty good on my brick.

Sure, plenty have. I have 3 sets. One of them has 3 years on it, including 2 Michigan salty winters. Looks great.

oh crud -

I have never done it; but I was advised this is the way to go if you want to paint your wheels. If you use reg paint the paint will come off rather quickly.

Powder coating is rather durable...

Painting is fine if you're not expecting perfection. Still, a little labor and a few rattle cans can do wonders.

Repainted in Dec. 2003 ...


Washed about every other week because of brake dust buildup, this was as about 6 weeks ago (end of June) ...
