'87 Wagon Woes 200

Hello everyone - I have an '87 240 wagon that isn't getting any gas. When I turn the key the pump doesn't do anything so I tried replacing the relay, still nothing. When I jump the relay the pump works just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions short of replacing the ECU?

thanks

-michael

Check the "BIG RED" wire at the relay. 12 volts should be present. If not, check the connection at the battery, and the "BLADE FUSE" - IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. from the battery.

Good luck

bridge fuse #4 and #6. this will run the pumps. try to start now. if it won't start then your secondary ignition is not sending a pulse signal to the fuel pump relay. no ignition = no fuel pump.
