I was wondering if the 740 sun visors fit 940. I do not care about the lighted mirror, in fact, on my '93 945 the driver's side visor does not have the mirror and that's the one that needs to be replaced. So, can I just get a visor from a 740?

Good p.m. and may this find you well. Believe it or not, the 1993 and 1994 sunvisors are not compatible. The incompatible part is the mounting. That for 1993 has a "deeper" mounting, than does an 1994. If you try to put a 1993 visor in a 1994 car, the mounting will not be flush with the headliners.

I say all this, to suggest that you'll likely need to go to a salvage yard, where you can remove parts yourself, to see if the visor on a 740 will fit on a 1993 model. My guess is that it won't but I'm prepared to be told that I'm wrong.
