Hard Starting Cold and Hot 200 1990

Hello,

Has anyone experienced this and conquered it?
Here's the scenerio...

Cold Start...need to give it gas and then manually hold the idle for a couple minutes (or drive) before it holds the idle on it's own.

Warm Start...need to give it A LOT of gas to start but then it WILL hold the idle on it's own from the get go.

Thanks.

TB

Maybe problems with coolant temp sensor and idle air control (bypass) valve.

A few items that you can check. Throttle micro-switch function, Air leaks on vacuum side of intake, dirty throttle body, distributor cap, rotor and wires.
