distributor removal help! 200

i need to remove the ditributor on my 81' 2440 dl and the distibutor isnt coming off. I have got it to the point where it turns and it comes up about a quarter of an inch then gets stuck.... what am i doing wrong?

You made a good start. Just soak it good with penetrating oil as you rotate it back and forth and work it up and down. Pry up till it's tight, then tap it back down, etc., etc., etc....

You are fighting years of aluminum corrosion.
