I finally found my '93 Limited Classic Wagon. It's Ruby Red and in great shape. It was from Florida, no rust every service receipt since day one. It actually survived hurricane Charley. Anyway, has anyone replaced their turn signal lenses with the yellow ones found on swedishcarparts.com? If so, could you send me a picture? I am in need of replacing the lenses on my 240 and wonder what the yellow lenses would look like. I am also going to put on the side marker lights that are also available in yellow... but if the turn signals don't look right in yellow I will get the clear ones.

Ah, awesome! I'm glad to hear there is finally someone else out there who is seriously considering swapping out the boring clear turn signal lenses with the authentic Volvo (truck) amber ones.

The Swedish Car Parts guys sent the stuff out immediately. However, when you're on the phone ordering with them, make sure they realize that *you* realize that you're ordering Volvo truck lenses. They do fit without modification, but my operator was a little lost since they're not listed under 240 lenses.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do. If you go for the amber lenses, definitely try to get some pictures up! I'd love to see them on other 240s.

Great find! To answer your question "KeplerNiko" has done this exact mod. It looks great and quite unique. He can comment on the whole process and upload pix I'm sure. If not, do a search in the archives for Volvo truck amber lenses or the like. I think it's a direct fit.
