How similar is the 89 740 interior to a 760 interior? The front seats are the same, correct? How bout rear seats? Are they the same rear seats from a 740 wagon as in a 760 sedan? Basicly... I did my interior in black(repainted and reupholstered).. and my seats don't match!.. Local yard has a black interior 89 740.. Didn't ask if it was sedan, but I'm sure its a wagon.
Let me know.. OR if there's someone with a local car with black interior (Close to MD) I'm interested. Thanks! tom.

I'm pretty sure that your 760 has power front seats, and the 740 will have manual seats. If this isn't an issue for you, then go for it. The rear seats should be the same for wagon/wagon and sedan/sedan, but putting the spilt folding wagon seatbacks into a sedan probably won't work. The rear bench cushion might be identical (can't remember).

Other differences exist, I believe the dash is different, hood is different, firewall & defroster vents, center console, etc. -lots of stuff that won't transfer easily once you start looking fowards of the front seats.
