1995 940 fuel pump relay location 900

where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1995 940? There is no rely on the fuse board (below the radio) and there is no relay in the engine compartment. Did volvo do away with it in 1994-95?? How do I test the fuel pumps (just turn on the ignition?)???

We have three ’95-940s with LH, a '94 LH, and a '93 Rex/R. All with the standard larger white FP relay. I think the ‘94 Rex/Regina had the oddball FP relay. (I think all ‘95s had LH.)

You have to remove the compartment below the radio to access the relays. Read the information in the FAQ, it is exactly per the picture.

Dear norfleet,

Good p.m. and may this find you well. There was a post within the past ten days on this subject. I believe the fuel relay in the 1995 model cars was not the large, rectangular, white box, but a smaller, square box, in the front row.

Find the prior post. It should help you.

Yours faithfully,

spook
