air mass meter, finding info on replacement

Hi all,

I know I need to replace my AMM (1984 245GL). I've read lots of messages on the AMMs but just haven't found specific instructions on how to do the replacement. Could anyone give me a brief
rundown on how it's done or point me to an online source for this info?

Thanks!

Blakey

Rather simple, really.

Loosen hose clamps and remove hoses from either end.

Remove wiring connector. There is a small wire clip that holds it in place.

Use a 10mm tool to remove the one bolt that holds it in place.

As Haynes would say, "Installation is the reverse of removal"

Great, thanks! Thought it was simple. It LOOKS like it should be simple. But when the guy at the
shop want's a couple hundred dollars to do it I had second thoughts!
